Western Automation has been Acquired by Littelfuse
Chicago-based Littelfuse Inc. has acquired Western Automation Research and Development Ltd (Western Automation).
With headquarters in Galway, Western Automation is a designer and manufacturer of electrical shock protection devices which have a broad range of end-uses. The most common use-case is currently in e-Mobility off-board charging infrastructure. The company supplies to blue-chip OEMs around the world and has operations in the UK, Spain, and USA.
